{"id":3767,"date":"2013-02-05T14:52:13","date_gmt":"2013-02-05T22:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/casgc.ucsd.edu\/?p=3767"},"modified":"2013-02-05T14:52:13","modified_gmt":"2013-02-05T22:52:13","slug":"2013-nasa-glenn-faculty-fellowship-program-ngffp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/casgc.ucsd.edu\/?p=3767","title":{"rendered":"2013 NASA Glenn Faculty Fellowship Program (NGFFP)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NASA John Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, is  accepting applications from full-time, qualified STEM faculty in  accredited US colleges and universities, for the summer 2013 NASA Glenn  Faculty Fellowship Program (NGFFP). <strong><!--more--><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Goals<\/strong><\/span>:<br \/>\n(1) Enhance professional knowledge through relevant and cutting-edge research engagement at GRC;<br \/>\n(2) Stimulate exchange of ideas between faculty and NASA GRC employees;<br \/>\n(3) Enrich and refresh the research and teaching at US academic  institutions through infusion of NASA mission-related research and  technology content into classroom teaching; and<br \/>\n(4) Contribute to the research, technology and engineering work packages  and objectives of GRC. Fellows work on projects to complement in-house  efforts by their GRC professional colleagues.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Location<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/strong>: NASA Glenn Research Center (Cleveland, Ohio)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Deadline<\/strong><\/span>: 2\/20\/13<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Faculty Fellowship Period<\/span><\/strong>: 6\/3\/13 through 8\/9\/13 (10 weeks)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Who is Eligible<\/strong><\/span>: Full time STEM faculty, primarily US citizens. US  legal permanent resident faculty members interested in  analytical\/fundamental research will be considered.
