{"id":7246,"date":"2016-12-31T13:12:53","date_gmt":"2016-12-31T21:12:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/casgc.ucsd.edu\/?p=7246"},"modified":"2016-12-31T13:12:53","modified_gmt":"2016-12-31T21:12:53","slug":"loreal-women-in-science-fellowship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/casgc.ucsd.edu\/?p=7246","title":{"rendered":"L&#8217;Oreal Women in Science Fellowship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Applications for the 2017 L\u2019Or\u00e9al USA For Women in Science fellowship program are <u>now open<\/u> and are due on <span data-term=\"goog_2000037308\">Friday, February 3, 2017<\/span>.<\/strong>The L\u2019Or\u00e9al-UNESCO For Women in Science program recognizes and rewards the contributions women make in STEM fields and identifies exceptional women researchers committed to serving as role models for younger generations.\u00a0 More than 2,250 women scientists in over 110 countries have been recognized since the program began in 1998.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the US, the For Women In Science fellowship program awards five post\u2010doctoral women scientists annually with grants of $60,000 each<\/strong>.
