{"id":7608,"date":"2017-10-12T14:05:07","date_gmt":"2017-10-12T22:05:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/casgc.ucsd.edu\/?p=7608"},"modified":"2017-10-12T14:05:07","modified_gmt":"2017-10-12T22:05:07","slug":"high-altitude-student-platform-call-for-payloads-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/casgc.ucsd.edu\/?p=7608","title":{"rendered":"High Altitude Student Platform-Call for Payloads 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Call for Payloads (CFP) for the September 2018 flight of the High Altitude Student Platform (HASP) has been announced. \u00a0HASP can support up to 12 student payloads (providing power, telemetry and commanding) during a flight to an altitude of 122,000 feet for up to 20 hours.\u00a0 The NASA Balloon Program Office and Louisiana Space Grant \u00a0Consortium anticipate flying HASP at least through 2018.\u00a0<!--more--> There is no cost for launch and flight operations.\u00a0 Student teams will need to raise their own funds to support the development of their payload and, if necessary, for travel to Palestine, TX for HASP integration and Ft.
