NASA\u2019s Spacesuit User Interface Technologies for Students (SUITS) challenges student teams to design and create information displays that support the development of spacesuit capabilities.\u00a0<!--more-->After development, student teams travel to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas to test their prototypes at the\u00a0Human Interfaces with Vehicles and Environments (HIVE)\u00a0lab.\u00a0<strong>The proposal deadline is\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_1386681354\">October 31, 2018<\/span>.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2019 Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develop a user interface, utilizing the Microsoft HoloLens, which enables astronauts to finish a task more efficiently by providing a set of instructions via the display environment (audibly, visually, etc.).\u00a0The task requires dexterity, physical activity, and navigation between various points within the test environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Information Sessions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For tips on how to submit a successful proposal, join our NASA SUITS Coordinator and technical experts for an online information session.
