Free Faculty Workshop at NASA Kennedy Space Center: July 19th & 20th, 2012

We are pleased to announce the 2012 Exploration Space Grant Faculty Workshop to be held July 19 & 20 at Kennedy Space Center.

The workshop will cover the newly developed and tested senior design course “Hybrid Rocket Experiment Station for Capstone Design” as well as the NASA Systems Engineering Process, senior design projects, and incorporating the NASA Systems Engineering Process into senior design projects. NASA Calls for Student-Designed Deep Space Habitat Proposals

HOUSTON — NASA is offering college and university students a chance to help design a deep space habitat. The Exploration Habitat (X-Hab) Academic Innovation Challenge is accepting applications for the 2013 challenge, inviting students to design, manufacture, assemble and test systems for use on NASA’s deep space habitat prototype.
