- On October 25, 2016
The Caltech Space Challenge is a 5-day prestigious event held March 26-31, 2017 in which undergraduate and graduate students from around the world compete in designing a space-related mission. The theme for the next Challenge is Lunarport. Students will design a launch and supply station on the Moon to refuel deep-space mission payloads. The next challenge is being sponsored by Airbus Defense & Space and will allow students to learn from their world-leading engineers.
Students from a broad range of backgrounds are sought out to apply: from engineering and science, to graphic design and business/project management.
All expenses while at Caltech for the event are paid, and a partial to full (depending on the cost) travel reimbursement will be issued.
More information can be found on the website: spacechallenge.caltec h.edu/applications/ and we encourage all interested students to apply!
