CaSGC Campus Director for the University of California, Los Angeles, Professor Christopher Russell, is the Principal Investigator for the Dawn Mission to the asteroids Vesta and Ceres. In 2008, the International Astronomical Union named Asteroid 21459 Chrisrussell in his honor. For more information, click here.
