The California Space Grant Consortium (CaSGC) is pleased to announce the 2014 Rocket Project Solicitation. Student teams may apply for funding for participation in national High Power Rocketry (HPR) competitions. Up to $10,000 has been allocated to support up to five student teams at $2,000 per team.

RockOn 2014 is a hands on workshop held at NASA Wallops Flight Facility. During the workshop, teams of three build a sounding rocket payload from a kit and launch it into space. Since 2008, more than 240 people have participated in this exciting opportunity.

NASA has announced a call for graduate fellowship proposals for the NASA Earth and Space Science Fellowship (NESSF) Program-2014/2015 Academic Year (proposals due 2/3/14).
